My final artwork is called Return, the ideal for the overall story is the idea that the bounty hunter must time-travel into the past from his future reference point to return to track down and kill the target. The idea being that by going into the past and killing the target would stop the target from eventually going on to cause further damage in the future. By stopping the target in the past the target will have never committed the injustices that are to come in this timeline. In terms of where I changed from my original idea and plan I stayed consistent with the overall idea and stuck with the aesthetic that I was initially planning for, It was hard for me at times to tell a complete visual story that wasn't left up to interpretation. I felt that there was room for the reader to experience the story how they wanted to. I believe that overall it was successful and that I told the story that I wanted to, in terms of reception it seemed that overall the class received the work well and had some good feedback to provide. Next time I would have better nailed down some themes that really felt like they would tell more of a story in depth but I felt that this was challenging being a strictly visual story rather than the ability to include text for context. I felt that this assignment went well and am looking forward to what comes next.
